Rusty MacDonald Library is one of Saskatoon’s nine city-run libraries and the only one serving the north end of the city, located in the Lawson Civic Centre. The goal when updating this library was to create a bright and inviting place for the community. The diffuse uplight provided by the Bruno and Deco fixtures in the general area create a spacious and well-lit feeling drawing you into the space. The acoustic properties of the Mute assist in providing the quiet environment expected in a library space. The Scout fixtures provide task lighting at the work stations as well as create some layers on the wall along the end of the library.
