The Dakota Dunes Resort Hotel is owned and operated by the Whitecap Dakota First Nation, and is located just outside of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The project is part of a larger resort property, and along with the hotel includes the world class Dakota Dunes golf links and Dakota Dunes Casino. The hotel features Indigenous themes with the overall design concept exploring the four elements: Fire, Water, Land and Air.

In the reception/lobby area, linear lines of light outline the black mirror-like ceiling which repeats the elements of Fire throughout the space. Guests are then guided to the long corridor where they can experience elements Water, highlighted by the delicate Celeste drop pendants from Eureka. In the Moose Woods Home Fire Grill, Land is brought to the fore with elements of metal in the large dome pendants and ring-shaped chandeliers. The effect is softened with the fan-like pendants in charcoal and sand colors, which are made of an acoustic felt with sound absorbing properties. Frosted glass and metal pendants over the booths highlight rather than obscure the custom logo and artwork.

Guest rooms are not overlooked, with recessed and pendant lighting in the bed area giving height to the space. The integrated lit mirror in the bathroom area looks stylish and provides the perfect task lighting.
